Message from the Chief:
Welcome to the Juneau Police Department! This website is intended to help you learn about our department and its services, to offer information that can keep you safer, and to provide opportunities for better communication between our department and the magnificent community we serve. I believe that the more you know about your Police Department, and the more we know about our community, the better we are able to serve you. Your input and ideas are always appreciated!
We have plans to expand our website in the near future, including adding the ability to file an electronic police report on certain types of incidents. This is meant to provide you with better, quicker service on cases where it is not necessary to have an officer dispatched to the scene. Other enhancements are envisioned also, so check back frequently.
On behalf of all the members of the Juneau Police Department, I would like to express my appreciation for the support we consistently get from our citizens, from our city leaders, and from other city departments. Working together, we are making Juneau the awe-inspiring Capital city that it is. The future is truly bright.
