Summary:On 02/21/2011, at approximately 2:18 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a residential burglary and robbery. The incident occurred at a residence located in the 1100 block of 4th Street Douglas.

The investigation revealed that a 27 year old female Douglas resident was in her home when two armed men entered the residence. The female victim said the men ordered her to open a lock box and took property valued at approximately $3,000. The two suspects then left in a black sedan. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Officers located an unoccupied black sedan in the Lemon Creek area that matched the description provided by the victim. At approximately 8:00 PM, officers searched the vehicle after obtaining a search warrant.

The victim was familiar with the two suspects and the robbery was not a random event. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation the names of the suspects are not being released at this time.
