Summary:The Juneau Police Department (JPD) would like to announce an exciting new feature of the ‘Ask A Dispatcher’ program. Residents have been writing to JPD since September, 2009, to ask for information on laws, how enforcement is done, and request updates on major cases. Many of the questions cover similar topics. Now JPD has a way for you to search ‘Ask A Dispatcher’ by keyword.

A search for keyword, ‘Driving,’ shows the topic has been addressed about 70 times as part of this service. ‘Noise,’ is a topic in 26 queries. ‘Fireworks’ is addressed 4 times.

You can reach the search feature by clicking on the ‘View Posted Questions Here’ button. If you don’t find an answer that satisfies your question there is the option of asking your question and getting a personalized answer.

JPD would like to thank the community for using the ‘Ask A Dispatcher’ service for the last two years. The service continues to draw several questions each week.
