Summary:
On 11-02-2012 at 12:05 PM, JPD responded to a reported head-on collision at the intersection of Egan Drive at Yandukin Drive. Investigation revealed a 2010 Toyota Corolla, operated by 44 YO Kim Andrews, was making a left turn from Egan Drive inbound to the Glacier Highway access, when it was struck by a 2002 Ford Ford F150, driven by 55 YO Robert Schenker. The Ford had been traveling outbound on Egan.

Both of the vehicles were totaled. There were no significant injuries to any of the occupants, who were evaluated at the scene by Capital City Fire and Rescue personnel. The driver of the Toyota, Andrews, was cited for failing to yield when turning left.

Traffic on Egan Drive was disrupted for a period of about 45 minutes after the accident.
