| Subject: Misconduct Involving Weapons | Date: 11-22-2012 11:22:27 | | From: Sgt. Chris Gifford | Case or Incident: #121122-002 | Summary:On 11-22-2012 at 4:40 AM, a woman called the Juneau Police Department reporting an unknown male was trespassing inside of her home in the 6000 block of Glacier Highway. Officers responded and found an intoxicated man lying on the kitchen floor of the residence, being ordered to remain on the floor by one of the homeowners, who was armed with a firearm.
The suspect, 27 year-old Wrangell resident Anthony Charles RICE, was determined to be intoxicated and also armed with a handgun. RICE was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass in the First Degree, and Misconduct Involving Weapons in the Third Degree, which is a Class “C” felony. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center where he was held without bail.
No one was hurt in this incident.
