Summary:On May 16th, 2014, at about 6:55 p.m., a Juneau resident reported his home in the 9200 block of Gee Street in the Mendenhall Valley was burglarized. $14,000 worth of firearms and electronics were taken sometime between May 12th and May 15th while the owner was working out of town.

The firearms taken included one DPMS AR-10, a Palmetto Arms AR-15, and a Windham Weaponry AR-15 with Trijicon Optics and bi-pod. Also taken was a Mossberg 12- gauge shotgun, a Browning 375 H&H with a Leupold scope, and a Browning 300 Winmag.

Handguns were also taken including a .22 caliber Ruger with Leupold Optics, a .45 Glock with Surefire tactical light, and a Walther P22 with laser sights. The last gun taken was a .44 mag Smith and Wesson.

The burglar or burglars also took a black IPAD with case and GOPRO with accessories.
