Joshua Levi Brown has been arrested in connection with the April 22, 2017, assault on a 24 year old Juneau man. Brown is charged with Assault in the 1st degree and is being held on $20,000 bail at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Brown was arrested on May 4, 2017, at about 11:50 in the morning.

JPD Officers responded to a residence in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway after receiving a tip Brown was there.

A $20,000 bail arrest warrant charging Assault in the First degree was issued today for 37 year old Juneau resident Joshua Levi Brown in connection with an assault that occurred on April 22nd near the 1600 block of Thane Road.

Brown is known to use several names including Charlie Hussle or Hustle, Charlie Brown, and Alex Douglas Dornbeirer. Brown is described as being a white male, 5’9” tall, about 175 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Photographs of Brown with and without facial hair will be published with this release.

The stabbing victim, a 24 year old Juneau man, is now listed is serious but stable condition at Harborview Medical Center.

The investigation into the stabbing is continuing.
A 24 year old Juneau man has critical injuries after being stabbed last night. The incident happened on Thane Road close to the avalanche chute and above a beach that is a popular party area. The Juneau Police Department received a call on April 22, 2017, at about 11:15 p.m., reporting the stabbing.

JPD patrol officers and a detective gathered evidence from the scene during the night. The stabbing took place near parked vehicles and the roadway, in an area above the beach where the party-goers had a fire. Capital City Fire and Rescue provided high intensity lighting from a CCFR vehicle to aid the investigators during the night.

The victim was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital then medically evacuated to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The investigation is continuing.
