Q. How long can a derelict vehicle be left on the street? There is a #### that has been on upper Seward St. since at the beginning of last summer. It got tagged once back around Oct. & was rolled back 2 spaces where it has been sitting ever since & has not moved. It does not even run.

Dear Juneau Resident,

The JPD Community Service Officers are familiar with this vehicle. It is owned by someone who lives in that area. Our records show it has been tagged a number of times but then is moved. The vehicle was tagged again yesterday because of this complaint. Our CSO also asked that patrol ticket the vehicle for expired plates.

Let us know if the vehicle continues to be a problem. The vehicle and description was edited so we don't advertise that someone can camp in it or vandalize it possibly without attracting the owners attention.
