Q. This last week I was picking up my nieces at DZ. I was less than 5 minutes late they were walking down toward Walmart. When I pulled up, they were talking walking with a man he left, my nieces said he'd asked them to come with him. They knew better because of my Sisters safety training. Their mother and I have told them both to stay at the school until I get there or mother. I remember reading a paper about a year ago it was a man bothering young girls in the same area. My nieces are safe and know what to do now I think it should be spread around. It sure sounds like the same man, extra patrol when school gets out please

Dear Juneau Resident,

I removed your description of the man because some JPD officers have ideas about who it might be. We would like make a case if at all possible. We take any child enticement behavior very seriously. School Resource Officer Blain Hatch is expecting your call and has been told of your report. Just call 586-0600 and ask for Officer Hatch. Officer Hatch is also doing extra patrol around the school to see if the man is hanging around.
