Q. On Sunday July 28th we heard and a lot of sirens going to the new swimming pool around 4:30 - 5 pm but in the Daily Bulletin there was nothing saying what happened at the pool. Do you pick and choose what info you display for the online Daily Bulletin?

Dear Juneau Resident,

That was a medical call though you might have heard or seen JPD responding as well. If there is a medical call and no traffic incident or criminal activity associated it would generally not make the daily bulletin or other type of press release. The presumption is medical calls are private unless something about the incident creates a situation where it is appropriate to inform the public, like there was a road closure as part of the response.
