Q. A blue Landrover has been parked on the side of the street in front of 1950 and 1960 Glacier Ave. every evening for the past 4 days without being ticketed. There is a sign about 100 feet behind the car stating that it is in violation to park within a certain number of feet from the road. In April, I parked in this spot and no sooner than two hours later I was ticketed. Is it actually legal for vehicles to be parked in this spot?

The area you are talking about is posted for no parking anytime of the day or night. The community service officers have checked that area lately, during the day when they are working, and found no one there. In the evening, patrol officers will need to cite person for parking there. Just call 586-0600 and report it! The dispatchers can give you a feel for how busy it is and when someone can go out there.
