Q. I heard that there were ambulance's, fire trucks, and police cars in Cedar Park the other day, and that someone had died, yet I can't find anything in the paper about it. Do you know what happened? With a small town like Juneau, when you hear that someone died, it's likely you know the person, so I was curious if anyone had actually passed away? Thank you for your time!

Dear Juneau Resident,

There aren't any recent reports involving deaths in the Cedar Park area.

What you saw could have been a police call where someone was injured and JPD called for medical assistance. The call also could have been a medical call where EMTs were concerned about getting into an apartment and asked for JPD assistance. There is a wide variety of calls that could bring both CCFR and JPD to the scene. Thankfully, most of the time no one has died.
