Q. Companies are offering kits to make your side by side ATV street legal. What equipment do I need in Alaska to make my ATV street legal? I'd assume, turn signals, brake lights, horn, mirrors? What am I missing?
Dear Juneau Resident,
You might want to save your money. I think the hitch you will run into is getting the license plate to operate on a public street since DMV treats ATVs like snowmachines. DMV says ATVs cannot be modified to be street legal.
