Q. There where 2 fire trucks by my house this am. What was going on? 7520 glacier hwy at 430am.
Dear Juneau Resident,
CCFR was responding to a report of a vehicle that had been in a crash and was on fire in the 7600 block of Glacier Highway. Of course, the first priority was the welfare of the driver and any passengers. Thankfully, nobody was found in the vehicle once the fire was out. It is not known if the car burned due to the crash or was intentionally set on fire after the crash. The investigation is continuing. Anyone who saw someone leave the area is encouraged to call JPD at 586-0600.
