Q. If I followed a car on the highway swerving left and right for a couple of miles, with a turn signal constantly on, crossing the median line and the shoulder line, almost hitting cars in the other lane, almost hitting a retaining wall - with a younger female behind the wheel bending down for several seconds to pick stuff up from the floor, continuing to do her hair and makeup at the same time, speeding, then stopping at the intersection and while putting on lipstick BACKING UP while stopped at the intersection almost running into my vehicle - and I have it all on video with clearly visible license plate and even an identifiable face of the female in her rearview and side mirrors - does JPD want this footage? Or is it only worth retaining for personal (and YouTube) entertainment purposes only? Thank you.

Dear Juneau Resident,

Sure we would like a copy of the video! It would be an unusual way to pursue a traffic offense so the question about prosecuting this has gone to our city attorney's office. Even with no prosecution we can see if the driver owns the vehicle and if not, show the owner the behavior. We could also contact the driver and watch the video with her and discuss the behavior.

If possible, drop the video off on a CD.
